Yes indeed - if you want the viewer adapted to the monitor's white point.

PhotoPrint can (optionally) simulate paper white - but for that to be useful the viewer needs to be able to adapt to that rather than to the display's native white point, hence the fullscreen print preview mode's hiding of UI elements.

(By the way, Pedro, the print preview is a recent addition, so if its greyed out your version of PhotoPrint predates its inclusion.)
