As Ivan has pointed out, you need a spectrophotometer to profile printers,
a colorimeter will not work as it is designed for transmissive sources.
The Colourmunki is perhaps the most affordable spectrophotometer, but if
software licensing is not an issue (as it isn't with Argyll CMS) you can do
what I did and simply buy a used Eye1 Pro. In Germany one can be bought for
less than €200 and will also provide more accurate display calibration.
