I am looking for a walkthrough of the commands/parameters needed to profile
an RGB printer (Epson SC-P800). I have an i1 Pro spectro.
Let's assume that I am wanting to generate a preliminary profile (1 x A4 =
441 patches) and then use that to generate a larger test chart (4 x A4 =
1764 patches).
[preliminary chart]
c:\> targen -d2 -f441 <preliminary chart>
c:\> printtarg <preliminary chart>
[print the preliminary target]
c:\> chartread <preliminary chart>
c:\> mppprof <preliminary chart>
c:\> targen <final chart>
c:\> printtarg <final chart>
[print the final target]
c:\> chartread <final chart>
c:\> printcal <final chart>
There are a lot of parameters to full in and I haven't wrapped my mind
around the operation of each and when/where they are used.
