the original poster did not tell us his intention.
Ben, when you say that it's not a good idea I assume that you think he
wants to create a profile from such a chart.
In fact in can be a very good idea to use such a chart for quality
control. Without knowing the final application its hard to say if it's a
good or bad idea.
