The ‘-g’ command will instruct targen to create a number of B/W patches. My
approach to creating profiles is to use a small patch set to create an initial
profile and use that profile as a ‘precondition profile’ for the final profile.
In this case, the targen command for Moab Entrada would be:
targen -v -d2 -G -g51 -N0.6 -w -cMoab_Entrada_pre.icm -f1848 Moab_Entrada_Final
This creates a four letter size page set of 1848 patches with a 51 step black
and white set along the neutral axis. The ‘-N’ command emphasizes the neutral
colors using the Moab_Entrada_pre.icm precondition profile. ‘-w’ creates a
diagnostic file that you can view that shows the distribution of patches.

Subject: [argyllcms] Patches focused on the gray axis
Hello, I would like to create a color profile for print with a target that has
a high number of patches focused on the gray axis, reading the Targen page with
the explanation of the single command lines, I didn't understand how to do it
Can you help me?
Thank you
