One can surely make different profiles for differently exposed target shots; or films scanned (think Vuescan) with different in-scanner exposure settings; than, opening an image, to go through profiles and see which one suits better. If you are asking about combining targets - which is a whole different question - than yes, one needs to do some job composing a CGATS file and combining bitmaps for a standard profiler to chew those.
