No. It takes a variable time (30 to 60 seconds maximum). Some instruments have
a fixed time, such as the DTP94, Spectrolino, and Eye One Pro, but a lot
of the colorimeters don't, since the use light to frequency converters,
and the frequency gets very low (long period) when there is not much light.
