I hate to post this on a list where Graeme has done so much for color
management but the NEC PA Series can be “adjusted” using a free NEC utility
called MultiProfiler. As the monitor ages, the factory numbers will mean
less and less but for a good 5000+ hours of operation, MultiProfiler will do
a good job of regulating the monitor in a stable condition and spit out
corresponding ICC profiles for both the Mac and (yeah!) Windows :)

(I’m a Windows die-hard…)

But, I really like dispcal and the free Python cross-platform interface put
out by Florian Hoch. I don’t suppose they have access to the internal
monitor LUTs by the DDI-c protocol? Is that something difficult to support,
Graeme?

Do you mean the SpectraView version?

I better recommend, to calibrate it yourself, with your own colorimeter (you
should get one too).

Thanks for advise.

Should I get it with calibration from NEC as well?

Looking to buy a new 27" monitor that would calibrate well using Colormunki

photo. Any advise appreciated. Has to be better than U2410.
