Did you do this verification with the DTP94 ? If so, it's all a bit strange, since spotread accesses the DTP94 using exactly the same method as dispwin. It might be something to do with video lut values, although that doesn't explain the visual appearance. Could you run dispcal again using -D, redirect the debug to a file (ie. dispcal -v -D -yl blah 2> log) and send me the log file together with the exact command line and the verbose output. Thanks.
