Alan,
my passport (2) is recent (2019) I'm using the ColorChecker base file to read
my CCP with an I1 Pro 2, I get values but all is fine doing so.
The link you provided is broken unfortunatly.

X-Rite do have information on using the values in third party applications.

data in CGATS format and I've seen posts on how others have used this
to create defined color patterns for Argyll. I'm not conversant
enough to be able to provide directions on this but maybe some others
are. Note: X-Rite changed the colorants in 2014 so you need to know
when your Passport was manufactured and download the correct files.

Subject: [argyllcms] Missing ColorChecker Passport ti2 file?
Hi,
I'd like to measure my own reference file for my Color Checker passport.
I would use something like chartread -v -H ColorCheckerPassport but
there are no ti2 file like for the ColorChecker.
Any suggestion?
