Okay, so an update! I went ahead and created an rgb profile targeting a FOGRA one. And the space is actually very similar to the fogra one, and i'm pretty happy with the results. The color proofs are very very close to ones i buy, so in the meantime i think i can use it. Now, i've been trying different settings to calibrate my monitor for soft proofing.I started with the softproofing preset that dispcalgui has, and played around a bit, but can't get a good result in terms of colors. The colors on the screen are lighter (yellow on the screen is actually more of a light orange in print). I thought it might be related with the color temperature and/or brightness, but i reduced the monitor brightness to 80 cd/m2 and the color temperature to a value measured in my room (4000k), re-profiled, and even though the screen changes a lot, the colors look the same. Is there anything else i can play around to solve this?
