[argyllcms] Is it possibile to "improve" a RGB printer profile with more patches from chartread using patches that I already have printed with printtarg?

I made a profile with a good number of patches, using targen to generate them,
printtarg to print them and chartread to read them.
Now I have a nice profile, but I was wondering if it possibile to use the
patches that I already have printed and readed adding some new patches to them
without printing again eveything.
So what I am asking should sound like "can I add more patches to an already
existing .ti1 file, can I add them to the .ti2 file and finally to the .ti3
file?".
My final need is to use both the patches that I have already printed and the
new patches to generate a prifle.
I know that I could use targen with the -c parameter to use the profile that I
already made to "partially justify" the targets that I am serching for
"something more".
I hope I didn't write too many stupid things!
