I understand if convenience and compatibility is more important for
Greame (and thus I understand if he uses old compilers with basic
settings for the official releases) but I would not mind if somebody
could compile and share windows binaries built with more advanced
compiler optimizations (like SSE2 or even AVX instructions enabled if
possible, etc).
