Already done Jason, all the uninstall ans reinstall part. Even done it manually ounce to be sure and I'll try again, I have other apps that may interfere, I don't know.

I also wrote Xrite, no answers yet.

Thanks,

Yves

I would suggest fully uninstalling the i1Profiler and X-Rite Device Services components, rebooting, then performing a fresh install of current 3.2.1 version (link below).  If that persists, I’d call X-Rite Support.  They have people that directly handle such issues.  I’m simply not aware of anything that causes a crash on my system and as I’ve said, done quite a bit with it including things that most don't.

Jason,

I tried both the CD version 1.7.1 with XRD version 2.4.0.1 and updated to version 3.2.1 with XRD 3.1.110.130 same result, it crashes anytime I want to switch to advance mode in the printer workflow. Same thing with the tools options.

Currently, I only have access to the basic mode and  I MADE A MISTAKE, the 1600 patches prints on 3 letter size sheet. I missed that the first time, which make this post useless, sorry about that.

Sorry again,

Yves

Are you running the newest version of i1Profiler?  I run a lot of
patches (3000+) sometimes and have not had such issue.  Also, be
sure you are running the appropriate patch size for either i1Pro2
(manual) or using i1iO.  And yes, if you want you can export the
CGATS from i1Profiler after measurement and use with other software.

    Hi,

I just got my new I1 Pro 2 and I'm disappointed already, I1
Profiler keeps crashing whenever I want to use the printer
workflow in advanced mode (seems OK in basic mode)and a few more
things also cause crashes. I couldn't help myself noticing that I
could have as much as 1600 patches on a single letter size sheet,
I would need 4 sheets with Argyll tools for the same amount of
patches. This is not a complaint, just an observation.

How complicate and or feasible would it be  to use this ability to
put more patches on a single sheet of paper using I1 Profiler with
the table system to read the patches and bring the results back in
to Argyllcms, cxf2ti3 or txt2ti3 maybe?

Just curious to know if I can save paper essentially.

    Thanks,

    Yves
