There is no "target" inside ti3.
A profile does not "correct" anything itself, a profile is an absolute
information rather than relative. You cannot operate a devce
accurately unless you are given the profile of it. Whether you expect
the device to be representing some profile like sRGB or US SWOP does
not matter at all, it is not in any way accounted for during
A profile uses PCS (profile connection space) which represents all
perceptible colours to specify device behaviour and never uses colour
space which is less than huamn vision gamut like sRGB or US SWOP.
If you want to compare two profiles (expected vs device) you should use
and use the expected profile as a profile to be verified. Quote:

having created an ICC profile with colprof I would like to calculate
the individual deltaE values for each patch in the target. I tried to
find something in the Argyll commands but was not successful. Also I
would like to create a plot of the measured x,y values and the x,y
values corrected with the profile. In the reference file and the
ti3-file I find the target X,Y-values. But where do I find the
measured x,y and where the ones corrected with the profile?
Any hint would be much appreciated.
