Your question is somewhat strange because the profiling is made in
such a way that it eliminates any error as long as device (be it
printer, LCD or something else) is reproducing colours constantly.
Do you want to say that you are verifying profile created earlier?
There cannot be any error bigger than the tolerance of measuring
device combined with natural noise unless you specify a pair of cases
which you compare. Those can be:
- earlier device state vs current device state
- current device state vs Adobe RGB.
- two devices of same model which are expected to produce same output
and it needs to be verified

having created an ICC profile with colprof I would like to calculate
the individual deltaE values for each patch in the target. I tried to
find something in the Argyll commands but was not successful. Also I
would like to create a plot of the measured x,y values and the x,y
values corrected with the profile. In the reference file and the
ti3-file I find the target X,Y-values. But where do I find the
measured x,y and where the ones corrected with the profile?
Any hint would be much appreciated.
