It probably is sRGB, but one can only assume.
Apple used to like gamma 1.8 though, so I wonder if something else
like AppleRGB or Generic RGB could be the default used by Applies UI code
(although they could use any colorspace they like to spec the UI colors of
course.)
Problem with dispwin -c is it won't stick under Mac OS X as far as I'm
aware.
Hmm. Seem to work for me OK. Won't work for a normal user if the current display
profile is a system profile, but should issue an error message for this
situation.
