Excuse me for my question. Graeme, what are your plans for
the future?

Hi,

My immediate plans are to release V1.3.1 to address the minor bugs
that have turned up since the previous release.

My longer term plans are to continue to maintain ArgyllCMS,
in between working on other projects.

Do you plan to support new colorimeters and
spectrometers in future releases of ArgyllCMS?

I have no definite plans to support any further instruments
in ArgyllCMS, simply because I don't know of any such instruments.

If and when newer models of the currently supported devices become available,
or any new manufacturers instruments become available, I will certainly be
taking a look at them, depending on the time and money I have available
acquire and evaluate them.

What do you think about new high-end basICColor DISCUS
colorimeter that is not very expensive?

I haven't come across it, as it seems to have only been announce recently. It
seem rather expensive for an end user colorimeter (suggested price US$1100 -
1200),
so I don't imagine it would be of much interest to many ArgyllCMS users.

Will you support new X-Rite XRGA standart and use its
transformation matrices?

If they publish them, yes. If they don't publish them, and don't indicate how
it is possible to determine whether an instrument conforms to the XRGA standard
or not (and the current information provides no indication that they will),
then this might not be possible.

Graeme Gill.
