After some unsuccessful trials, it seems I got dispwin to dowload my custom cal file into my PC videoLUT. First I tried the following command line: > dispwin 245bw 245bw is the name of my calibration file. I got the error message "can't open 245bw". Why? So I went on reading some more the online help. Then I tried: > dispwin -r To see whether my system videoLUTs at all. And got the message: > Darkening screen > Lightening screen > Restoring screen > Normal beep > Good beep > Bad double beep I gather, at that point, that everything was functioning properly. So I proceeded again with dispwin and my cal file, ony this time I smartened up and added the file extension: > dispwin -v s45bw.cal Then I got: > About to open dispwin object on the display > About to set given calibration > About to destroy dispwin object Well, I am going to take a leap of faith and assume that the cal was indeed loaded into my PC videoLUT. But it would sure be nice to have dispwin confirmed that with something like : > '245bw.cal' was successfully loaded into your system videoLUT Anyway, I think it worked since my display darkened a bit at that point. I did not quite understood the other options offered by dispwin. But one thing I'd like to try is to use my i1 and have dispwin run through a series of color and report the results against the cal file, to see whether the calibration still hold? Roger Breton
