Hello all,
I've just uploaded a fresh source snapshot of what will probably
resemble the next release of Argyll, to:

The main area of change is in the support of a number of additional
color instruments. Changes have been made in how instruments are dealt
with, particularly in the areas of triggering and calibration,
so there is the possibility of regression with some existing instruments.

It would be good if those capable of compiling the code could test the
instrument operation out, particularly if you have access to an
Eye-One Display 1, a Rev B or D Eye-One Pro, or an X-Rite DTP20 "Pulse".
The list of instruments supported is at the top of the documentation.
It would be nice if someone could test a DTP92Q, to see if it works as well.

As always there are numerous small bug fixes and improvements. You don't
have to select the type of instrument anymore, even the serial port connected
instruments are now recognized automatically. For things like the DTP20,
the chart generation has been modified appropriately to generate a TID,
so that charts can be read un-teathered. As usual the log.txt file contains
more detailed change information, and the accompanying html documentation
is largely up to date. If there is sufficient interest and not an overwhelming
number of bugs, I could be persuaded to upload binary snapshots for this as well
for wider testing.

Please report and problems or issues in compiling or running this snapshot.

cheers,
        Graeme Gill.
