My understanding is that both are colorimeters and not spectrophotometers.
Presumably they are tuned in some manner of wide gamut displays but may need
additional software for the future.  If they are tuned, one would wonder
about their performance on a normal display.

I'd be curious to know of what changed in the new X-Rite ColorMunki
Display & i1 Display models introduced today. X-Rite claims these are
good for wide-gamut displays, as well as 'future' technologies. How?
