First, I am a newbie to calibration, so I might be confusing some of the
terminology.
I am trying to calibrate my computer display so that I have an 'EPD' (Visual
Equal Probability of Detection) response. This response curve is similar to
DICOM. (See section B32 (NEMA-DICOM & EPD Gray Scale Functions) of
https://www.icdm-sid.org/downloads/idms1.html)
Is there a way to have DisplayCAL / ArgyllCMS utilize a custom tonal/gamma/LUT
curve? Can someone point me to the instructions or an example on how to
accomplish this?
(I realize that unless I can update the display LUT to have the EPD response
that the results on my screen will look quantized, but I would like to try it
anyway.)
Thanks
