I recently got to go through the joy of installing an OS on a new

using a GUI for color calibration and profiling?
I had previously used the excellent GUI DisplayCAL software to
calibrate and profile my monitors but some of its dependencies are no
longer being supported due to their use of Python 2 (they've moved on
to Python 3). I went down the rabbit-hole of compiling all of the
dependencies except wxPython (which I couldn't get working after about
2+ hours because of the API-incompatible version 4 of wxPython). Then
I realized that just using the authoritative command-line programs
would be easier.
Thankfully, adjusting to using the command-line ArgyllCMS programs has
been a breeze with the help of the wonderful tutorials
(https://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Scenarios.html).
Thanks for the great software! Just curious about how other people are
adjusting to changing versions.
