[argyllcms] Creating a custom profile

Hi,
I want to match output files of my RAW converter with the wonderful
jpeg colors the camera produces. I have written a program that
calculates lookup table in Lab -space and another which applies this
lookup-table conversion to the photos.. it seems to work.
Now I'm wondering if it would be possible to somehow generate a custom
icc profile knowing a bunch of original rgb + lab values and the
corresponding desired rgb + lab values. Which way could I feed this
information (look-up table) into argyllcms' tools to generate a
profile that maps the colors right? Is this even possible to do.. and
does it make sense?
