Hi,
that's rather odd. Each measurement generates 274 bytes of
data (about 128 x 16 bit CCD values + extras), so it simply shouldn't
be capable of doing anything else. Most likely explanations:
* Perhaps you're exceeding the maximum scan time of 15 seconds,
and the driver isn't reporting or recovering properly from that ?
* Some sort of USB I/O issue or breakdown (what System are you using ?)
* A fault in the instrument HW or bug in its firmware.
* Perhaps I'm wrong in assuming a partial transmission can never
happen, and should cope with it more gracefully.
I've never seen this myself, by I'm not using this instrument
very much (basically just testing).
