Hello Argyll CMS users,

Is it necessary to individually measure X-Rite ColorChecker charts? I do not
have a spectrophotometer or know anyone who has one.

According to BabelColor, the "new" ColorChecker Classic (24 patches) default
reference data matches their own measurements very well.

Is the manufacturing of the ColorChecker SG (140 patches) similarly precise?

I would hope the variability in the charts is less than the average error in a
matrix profile, around 2 to 3 dE.

Stephen.
