I know that it is not smart solution but could you try using
DisplayCAL to make new profile while setting target curve to whatever
you'd like like sRGB? I am struggling to suggest what could be the
problem.
I doubt that saving those curves as VCGTs would work well because they
are not real tone response curves, they are reflecting the rendering
intent.
But they're similar to what I've tried to tune manually..
Ok I'll try displaycal... But it basically just invokes argyll's dispcal
so I don't expect a different result.
Interesting question is whether displaycal or some other tool can export
these tone response curves :)
