There is no documentation at all on the low level protocols - it all has to
be reverse engineered.
You can set it to execute N x D duration measurements. This works
fine when the measurement period is deterministic. I presume
this is how the i0 works, but I'm not 100% sure there isn't some
instruction that is only used with the i0, since I haven't looked
at i0 USB traces very much.
An normal strip read depends on the button to initiate and terminate.
