[argyllcms] Changing illuminant in spec2cie

Hello,
I am using Version 1.6.1 and want to compute XYZ from spectral data with
various illuminants.
I tried this:
spec2cie ColorCheckerSG.ti3 ColorCheckerSGillumA.cie -i A
And this (the default is D50):
spec2cie ColorCheckerSG.ti3 ColorCheckerSGillumA.cie
In both output ti3 files the XYZ are identical, they should not be? What could
be going wrong here?
Secondly, is there a tool in Argyll for chromatic adaptation, to convert XYZ
from on illuminant to another?
