Hi folks, I'm a newbie to Argyll so please bear with me, and have been playing

I'm not sure from your description what the problem is. Can you show me
an example command line and the verbose output ?

Also can only get it to
produce charts with "random" patches. Have tried "-r" but no luck. Would like
to see
all Cyans, etc. in a row, especially in Calibration chart. Know I must be
missing
something here!

It's not clear which tool you are referring to in regard to "-r".
In targen, -r determines the algorithm used to generate the "-f" number
of patches. To avoid randomising the layout, you need to use printtarg -r.
