[argyllcms] Cannot calibrate display using ArgyllCMS v1.1.0, Spyder2 and OS-X

Hi everybody,

I just tried the new v1.1.0 on my new iMac to calibrate my second screen,
but I have no success:

$ dispcal -y l -d 2 -p 0.5,0.5,2 -v -g 2.4 -O Dell3008WFP_Custom_B32 -o
Dell3008WFP_Custom_B32
Need projection measurement capability,
but instrument doesn't support it
dispcal: Error - new_disprd() failed with 'Instrument Access Failed'

Version 1.0.4 did not have this problem. However, that one has another
problem with the Spyder2, similar to the problems reported by Jean-luc de
Gouy in
//www.freelists.org/post/argyllcms/probleme-whith-spyder2-and-argyll-103.
I hoped the new version would solve this, but now I have no luck at all.

Note that I can do some testing like

$ dispcal -d 2 -y l -R
Place instrument on test window.
Hit Esc or Q to give up, any other key to continue:
Uncalibrated response:
Black level = 0.54 cd/m^2
White level = 155.14 cd/m^2
Aprox. gamma = 1.93
Contrast ratio = 286:1
White chromaticity coordinates 0.3064, 0.3447
White    Correlated Color Temperature = 6708K, DE 2K to locus = 15.0
White Correlated Daylight Temperature = 6697K, DE 2K to locus = 12.6
White        Visual Color Temperature = 6090K, DE 2K to locus = 14.6
White     Visual Daylight Temperature = 6211K, DE 2K to locus = 12.3
Effective LUT entry depth seems to be 8 bits
The instrument can be removed from the screen.

Anyone that can help me out with this?
I still use the original spyd2PLD.bin as retrieved from the original
software disk that came with the Spyder2 Express (over a year ago, or is it
two by now, not sure).

Thanks,
Luud
