(Родословная Книга Дворянства Киевской губернии). There is no way to know
exactly the ancestry of a subject of Russian Empire or USSR by just the family
name. This is coming from a person who was born in USSR in the Russian/ Jewish/
Ukrainian/ Armenian/ Greek/ Albanian/ Tatar /Bulgarian/ Moldavian/ Polish/
German/ French ... -populated city of Odessa in 1949, I think I should know
something about it.
