AFAIK argyll is an open source color management platform, not a specialist

pro cine guys, although it is used by many of these thanks to its amazing

Not only is this very much true...many of us color science nerds loose
perspective of the particular jobs we're working on.
Ask a master cabinetmaker to fix a cheap Ikea chair with a wobbly leg. Her
instinct may well be to retrofit it with a precision-cut mortise-and-tenon
joint, but the actual answer is probably just to replace the small plastic
doohickey that's cracked.
The most important step in any task is understanding its scope and
requirements. People passionate about a subject have a very natural and
understandable tendency to over-engineer their responses to that subject. In
many ways, this is how we as individuals and societies advance; however, it's
also at the heart of "the perfect as the enemy of the good" fallacy that
hinders many of us.
If you're using an axe to cut timbers for a log cabin, for the sake of all
that's unholy, leave the micrometer in the machine shop.
