I have target colorchecker SG from x-rite.
I am using Eye One Pro 2 (i1Pro 2).
I want to create a reference file to be used with scanin.
so my workflow would be
a. measure colorcheckerSG and get custom XYZ/LAB values using the i1Pro 2
b. store values into reference file to be used with scanin
c. scanin creates .ti3 file using custom measurements and tiff image from
my camera
d. colprof creates ICC profile from .ti3 file.
I can measure the color target with spotread, but do not understand how to
get that data into a usable file to create the reference data for scanin. I
guess i am stuck on how do I output the data from spotread? I can output to
a logfile but it gets overwritten with each new measurement, instead of
adding to the file continuously.
Any advice on the best method to measure the colorcheckerSG and end up with
a reference.txt file for scanin to use? other methods of profiling camera
are welcomed.
