Dear Graeme,

I've sent you a small RAR archive:
https://www.yousendit.com/download/aHlTQ3Q4NDJWRDgwTVE9PQ

The files are:
ArgyllCMS_First_HiresAdaptive.log - This was my first try with
Hires/Adaptive, that I had to stop (lots of errors).

ArgyllCMS_Last.log - This is my latest attempt to calibrate/profile
my monitor, with less "misread errors", but the profile quality is
not what I would like to reach.
Curves.jpg - Lut Curve of this last run
Profile Verification....htm - Verification report

I'll try to reproduce the problem with -D6 enabled.
To my shame, I have to admit, that I even have to test, if
there is the possibility of a hardware (cable) problem using
the monitors USB Hub with the ColorMunki.

In Device Manager the driver version is still reported as
"1.0.0.1 / 03/18/2010". Haven't you changed the version number
after the recent fix?

Besides the "misread problem" I have a hard time to
get a good calibration/profile, please see the log and profile
verification report of my last attempt.
What wonders me most is the big dE peak in the reds.

I try to calibrate/profile my new monitor a NEC PA241W.
This is a wide gamut monitor with an internal 14 Bit 3D LUT
(16-bit processing) and a 10-bit P-IPS panel. There is a form
of self calibration (at least the brightness) implemented and
according to NEC these monitors are factory calibrated to a
high standard. Most Adjust functions are absolute (eg. cd/m²
and x,y color coordinates) and not relative (eg. RGB Gain).

This is not an ideal world, so my ColorMunki is only
partially in accordance with the monitor, this is where my
problem begins (eg. there is a 3,5-4 dE difference
in the color temperature setting).

Regards, Juergen
