LProf does do calibration and now includes a modified version of LCMS that has 
the ability to add a VCGT to a profile.  LProf uses a different algorithm 
from ArgyllCMS to give users feed back when adjusting the white/black points 
but my testing indicates that it gives almost exactly the same results as 
dispcal.  The same meter on the same display with the adjustments untouched 
will typically read +-50K which is comparable to what I see when running 
either of these from run to run.

Also a correction LProf is using current ArgyllCMS meter code (beta7).
