I bet your U2711 was set to sRGB mode! Wasn't it?
Look at the attached pictures, you primaries are very close to the
sRGB primaries and my U2410 looked close to this in it's sRGB mode. (I
used the numbers from the ti3 file you just sent. That's the narrower
one.)

Or it's just a coincidence...
