I'll see if I can figure out how to install Big Sur on an external SSD so that I
can test it out. Can't test M1, but at least it'll let me see common OS changes,
and possibly see what sort of horrors have arisen in the latest Xcode API churn.
(My Mac laptop is a bit too critical to other work to just upgrade the OS on it)
[ It will be interesting to see if the next MacBook Pro gets a zoned backlight
HDR
display as well as an ARM CPU. If so, it could be a good test platform for
HDR. ]
