That's true, but it can also affect color accuracy for highly saturated
colors too - if any part of spectrum should be at a low level, then
this problem will tend to elevate the reading, causing errors in
the a* and (particularly) b* values. But errors in highly saturated
colors are harder to see, so perhaps this is not so significant.
