At very long last I've uploaded ArgyllCMS V1.1.0 RC1 (Release Candidate 1) to the website to give interested people some time to test and report any bugs or problems. This can work either with a print system that supports per channel print calibration curves, or purely using ICC profiling mechanisms. Default targen (OFPS) test point distribution has been re-written to generate test points on the gamut surface, refine the point locations when using a guide profile, and use a better error estimate model to determine the test point locations. Hopefully this will result in better quality profiles. Improved and re-tuned gamut mapping. This is noticeably smoother and better retains source image detail (thanks to Klaus Karcher for the challenging test images!) Re-tuned the cLUT profile creation smoothness vs. accuracy. Minor: Improved collink K only black and colorant handling so that the gamut mapping is consistent with the special handling. Added i1pro & Color Munki phopto flash measurement support. Improve reliability of detecting backwards read i1pro/Munki strips. Added option to dispcal and dispread to allows an external command to supply display readings, so that it's possible to make foreign instruments work with them. Fixed absolute spectral reading calibration error for i1pro. Added spotread option to save spectral reading of an illuminant to a .sp file. Provided freely distributable sRGB, Clay1998 and lab2lab profiles in ref directory. Added Color Rendering Index (Ra) to spotread measurement results. + many other bug fixes and more minor additions.
