Hello! I am trying to set up ArgyllCMS 1.3.2 under Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64 and profile my display (NVidia TwinView). Some time ago I had set up ArgyllCMS 1.2 (and 1.1 and 1.0 and 0.7) on a different computer just following instructions on site. Right now I can not do the same not under Linux x64 nor Windows XP x32 (Windows is under a VirtualBox virtual machine). I was able to profile a monitor from MS Windows (VirtualBox) using the supplied proprietary software. Then I am running dispread on linux (as user or as root) I am getting: votez@ALISA:~/opt/Argyll_V1.3.2/bin$ ./dispread -v -yl Samsung Number of patches = 900 Setting up the instrument dispread: Error - new_disprd failed with 'Instrument Access Failed' If I am trying to do this from Windows (please not -proprietary software was able to perform profiling): C:\opt\Argyll_V1.3.2\bin>dispread.exe -v Samsung Number of patches = 900 Setting up the instrument dispread: Error - icoms - usb_is_usb_portno: port number out of range!
