Are old CCMX files still valid and can be used? Or have I to translate them to a new (CCSS) file format?
IMO they cannot be converted to CCSS, because they contain completely different information (correction matrix for a particular instrument/monitor pair, versus spectral samples emitted by a particular monitor). AFAIK, CCSS files currently work only with the new i1 Display pro and Munki Display. In conjunction with other/old instruments the information in CCSS files is not useful, but a correction can only be done in the traditional way (CCXM). Regards, Gerhard
