There is no such thing as Bayer values, most Bayer CFAs are in fact RGB;
especially from the point of view of profiling from shots of targets with
relatively large colour patches.

bayer values for a computer to convert to RGB, or one that outputted RGB

I can't see the bayer-outputting device being worse, as computer software can
replicate whatever conversion happens in a RGB-outputting device.

I'm wondering if there's any advantage to having bayer values. Along the
lines of running a better algorithm (or throwing more processing power into
it) to have better RGB values.
