I took a look at Corel PhotoPaint but can't find any interface to select
'Page Sizes'?

It is similar to Photoshop's Print dialog in many respects, which is good.

I took at look at GIMP on YouTube but decided to try Corel first.

I took a look at ImagePrint from ColorByte but that's not cheap.

Here is a screen capture showing the two printer's gamuts:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkD78CVR1NBqkocyIa-UfFR3m1Y1qQ?e=Y2rM6X

It's obvious that the left gamut (Paint.exe) is less "structured" than the
one on the right (Photoshop).

Two conclusions.

I would not necessarily discard printing from Photoshop entirely as the
shape of the gamut may accommodate certain images more than the "Paint.exe"
gamut.

I have to find out, on Adobe's forums, what is it that keeps them from "not
managing color on the way out"?

Printing from Microsoft Paint.exe on Windows 10 yields the same output as
printing using ACPU. I don't see a difference between the two outputs.

Interesting.

Finally found a moment to compare the output sent from Photoshop to the
output sent from ACPU, and there's a huge difference between the two,
confirming what others reported here.

At first sight, I would say it's as though ACPU turns the "driver" into a
"CMY" printer, as opposed to an "RGB" printer? It's plain to see.

Now which one is "better"?

I need to find an application outside of the Creative Cloud, to "compare".
Perhaps, on Windows, one of Microsoft's imaging apps? On Windows 10,
"Photos.exe"? Only problem (read "limitation") is that Photos.exe does not
allow accessing the printer "Preferences" from its printing dialog -- darn?
(I have to set the Preferences from Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners

myPrinter > Manage > Printing Preferences) Which adds an element of
"uncertainty" to the process until, I guess, one learns to "trust" the
settings to stick! Well, the output is not the same as from Photoshop and as
from ACPU.

I have to keep looking. I don't suppose Epson has its own "Printing
Utility"?

And I don't suppose the "problem" exists on the Mac or Linux?
