[argyllcms] 1.5.1 cctiff query

I've created a device link profile and converted a batch of images using 1.5.1
cctiff on a Mac running 10.8.3.
Adobe Photoshop CS6 won't open them, complaining; "Could not complete your
request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file."
The TIFFs will open fine in any other TIFF reading application.
Conversions made using 1.4.0 cctiff on the same Mac open OK.
Has something changed in 1.5.1 that is causing Photoshop to choke?
