Hi Jennifer,

In the real world, there is a reason that
any particular individual is addressed as 
"Boss".

"Boss" has a special meaning...that is....

"They call the shots!!"

And bosses tend to want a smooth running machine !!

And it is the boss who determines if the machine
is smooth running and makes adjustments based
on his/her opinion.

So......(enough said!)

I think a sensibile boss would simply foot the bill for your license if he 
requires ms office otherwise he is so cheap he does not, then he should be 
advised to switch to libre or abiword.
