oncology.  One on the items on the required list is a patient educational hand 
out.  Is anyone aware of an agency that already has booklets for patient 
education?   I would hate to reinvent the wheel if something already exists out 
there, any help would be greatly appreciated!  I put the outline of what we are 
looking for below:


The cancer rehabilitation specialty program demonstrates how education for the 
persons served and families/support systems:

a. Is coordinated.

b. Is reinforced:

(1) Throughout the rehabilitation process.

(2) Among members of the interdisciplinary team.

c. Is age appropriate.

d. Is culturally appropriate.

e. Fosters self-management.

f. Addresses, as appropriate to the needs of each person served and 
family/support system:

(1) Physical effects of cancer and its treatment.

(2) Psychological/emotional effects of cancer and its treatment.

(3) Social effects of cancer and its treatment.

(4) Utilization of equipment.

(5) Health behaviors.
