as those who attend CSM are only a piece of the representation of not only
the certified practitioners, but also those who have been deeply involved
in education and would like to contribute/have a voice. Especially this
year when one of the limiting factors are employers not allowing travel
and that is unfortunately something no one has control of.
Hopefully we can find a way to include practitioners and others to get a
true representation and hear everybody’s voice.

Do you want to help advance the specialty of oncology in entry-level DPT
education and are attending CSM? We need you to join us for an important
session where we will be learning what YOU think every DPT student needs to
know about cancer and cancer treatments before they graduate DPT school.
The Academy of Oncologic PT has established a Taskforce to develop these
entry level guidelines and are facilitating an
educational/listening/discussion session to establish these guidelines. We
need a diversity of voices from a variety of professionals so bring a
friend or several! You do NOT need to be an oncology expert to participate
so all levels of experience are welcome and needed. As this is an approved
education session through CSM, you will receive 2 continuing education
units for participating.
