The Balance and Falls SIG of APTA Oncology is interested in creating an
evidence- based falls screening tool for adult oncology patients. We are
looking for volunteers to assist in creating and distributing this new
tool. This needs to be addressed in all oncology survivors because the
frequency of falls in this population is easily overlooked by many oncology
teams. The goal is to establish a standardized quick screen that can be
used by healthcare professionals and relayed to oncologists for fall
prevention training or fall management. We are planning on having an
introductory meeting on Wednesday 3/31/21 @8pm EST/7pm CST/6pm MST/5pm PST
to review the ST and LT goals of the project, introduce team members,
