"Certainly," she acknowledged. "Follow me." With that she started
leading the group toward the exact site of the kidnapping.

"Just the kidnapping and all," Sasquatch replied, handing Terry the
lizard. "Was there something else that happened?"

"Not that I'm aware of. Though, there isn't a free flow of information
around here so who knows?"

"Hey little guy." Terry said to Monty, "You seen Rho around? You
know, your carrier." He held out his hands, offering him the chance to
climb onto him. The little lizard just bobbed its head and scurried up
Terry's arm and onto his head.

He squirmed a little as Monty scratched at his hair, arranging it to
the lizard's liking.

Moving into the quaranted sector, Ms. Dominic pointed to the
smashed cellphone and PDAs. "These were the first clues that we
found." She frowned. "We were lucky though. We'd triangulated their
postion just before the units were destroyed."

Ms. Dominic pointed to the nearby two-man hopper. "We sent a
hopper to start tracking, but they moved to quickly. It's as if they
disappeared into thin air."

"Unlikely," Sloavenski scoffed. "You sure they didn't have a hopper
themselves?"

"My guards along the perimeter would have noticed," Ms. Dominic
answered flatly. "Even a stealth hopper couldn't have sneaked past
them. No, they just disappeared."

"Perhaps they're still in the compound then." Terry suggested. "I'm
all ears if you have any ideas." He said to Sloavenski.
